Original etching and aquatint printed in bistre ink on laid paper. From the
edition of 50 printed on laid paper (there were an additional 50 impressions
printed on Japan paper), as published in the book Manet, text by Edmond
Bazire, published by Quantin, 1884 (each book contained one impression on
each type of paper). This posthumous edition is the only one ever printed
from this plate.
